5 things you should know before you choose a monument.

Step 2.
Choosing the size of your monument.

The next thing to think about is size. Is the memorial you have envisioned big, small or maybe somewhere nicely in-between? This is the time to decide.

In this industry, all markers and monuments are described by their size in the same fashion. That is, length x width x height.

Length refers to the distance from left to right as you read the marker. Width is the distance from front to back. Height is the measure of the bottom to the highest point. Monument sizes can fluctuate up to a half inch; don’t be alarmed or concerned if the size doesn’t perfectly match to a full inch.

Below you’ll find measurements, and sizes, for monuments most often used in Michigan. For single and double graves.
